Who Says the Mountains Can’t Create Waterman?

5ooo Days.  That is how many days I have logged at sea as of my last USCG License renewal.  That’s a lot of saltwater I have run through, over and upon.  I have seen the coastlines of Australia, Brazil, Alaska, Italy, Atlantic and Pacific of the United States, just to name a few regions.  I was asked last week by a relative, of all the places I could live and bodies of waters to live near, where would I choose?  My answer.  This waterman would choose a small mountain lake in the lower Appalachia.  For selfish reasons I will choose not to disclose this water wonderland.  But to me, my Family and hopefully my nieces, nephews and my boys, this will be their education & appreciation to becoming future waterman.  My thoughts.  Waterman can be found even in the mountains.
